Shirley Lehtinen was born and raised in Spokane, now the second
largest city in Washington state. Her grade school
was a one-room country schoolhouse with only 30
children.
While growing up, Shirley was active in Job’s
Daughters (a young girl’s Masonic organization)
where she competed with the drill marching team and
was elected Jr. Princess.
Her family moved to Everett, Washington in 1960
where she attended Everett High School. During
senior year Shirley completed her classes early,
took advanced business courses and became a legal
secretary at age 17!
While working in the law firm, Shirley attended
Everett Community College, working toward a Business
Administration Degree. She then took 12 years “off”
to be a stay-at-home mom.
Shirley later worked as an escrow officer for five
years, and 18 years with the largest real estate
firm in Everett as an Administrative Assistant,
Executive Secretary and Relocation Director.
Bauer Evans’ receptionist since 2000, Shirley is the
face and voice of the firm, creating a comfortable
and professional environment where clients feel
right at home. |
