Ross D. McIvor, CPA
Principal / Senior Manager

Ross McIvor   grew up in Bellevue, Washington. At that time, Bellevue was considered the bedroom community of Seattle. He started working when he hit fifth grade with an adventurous paper route. At the age of 16, his family moved to Pullman where he finished out his junior and senior years at Pullman High School. Activities included competitive bowling, volleyball, debate team, basketball, and golf.

Washington State University was his college of choice. There he graduated with a BA in Business and an emphasis in Accounting. Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity kept him busy, as did the bowling team, intramural sports, and golf. As if that wasn't enough to keep him busy, he worked Grounds Crew for three years learning his vocational "degree" in installation and repair of sprinkler systems.

After college, Ross earned his CPA license and began his accounting career with Niemi Holland & Scott, a regional CPA firm. He also spent many years at Dodd Wing & Co. In 1993, he founded McIvor Consulting PLLC. In 2011, Ross merged his CPA practice with Bauer Evans, Inc. P.S.

Ross is currently involved in community activities as a Trustee and Immediate Past President of the Board of Eastside Heritage Center. He is a Board Member of Seafair, a member of Bellevue Rotary, and a member of WSU Foundation--Seattle Planned Giving Advisory team. He is also a graduate of Advance Bellevue, a leadership training program.

Ross has been married to Candice since 1977. Two crazy dogs round out the household. His personal interests include bicycling, golf and supporting his Washington State University Cougars where he graduated in 1975.
