Michelle Diers  was born in Portland, Oregon. At the age of six, her father's job took the family to Tokyo and later to the Netherlands on overseas assignments. The privilege of living abroad taught her the importance of mutual respect and acceptance at an early age. During her high school years, she played on the volleyball team, participated in student body leadership and various social committees. She finished her last two years of high school on Oregon turf at Aloha High.

Michelle started at the University of Oregon and later transferred to the University of Washington to earn her B.A. in International Business. After working for an international corporation in sales management, she earned her Post Baccalaureate in Accounting from Oregon State University and completed her CPA certification soon thereafter.

Michelle worked for Deloitte & Touche before moving to Seattle where she joined McIvor Consulting PLLC in 1994. She became a member of the Bauer Evans' team in January 2011. As a Manager, Michelle's areas of expertise include Business and Personal Income Tax Preparation, Planning and Consulting, and Financial Statement Compilations and Reviews.

As a former Duck married to a Duck (Go Ducks!), a Husky Alumna (Go Dawgs!), a Beaver Alumna (Go Beavs!), and a proud Cougar mom (Go Cougs!), her life has come full circle as she is constantly reminded of the importance of mutual respect and acceptance. Michelle loves to travel, enjoys creative writing, practices hot yoga, and looks forward to summers when she can make her spicy garlic dill pickles.
