Kim O. Austin Kim attended junior high and high school in Edmonds, WA. She earned her varsity letter in track, softball, gymnastics, and basketball while running year round for an AAU track team, and working part-time at Security Bank in Lynnwood as a teller.
She graduated from Seattle University, where she was student body treasurer and a resident assistant while in the accounting program. Her degree is a Business Administration with an accounting concentration. Her first job was as a Tax Accountant for Rainier Bank. She was asked to join her best friend in a Seattle CPA firm and decided to give public accounting a try. She hasn't looked back since and earned her CPA license in 1981.
Kim has worked part-time for Bellevue accounting firms since beginning her family with four children in 1981. Her favorite past times include travel, tennis and yoga. Kim's primary focus has been on Nonprofit Entities, Business and Personal Income Tax Preparation, Financial Statements Compilation and Review, as well as QuickBooks accounting services.
