Founder

Bob Bauer was raised on a farm in Murray, Utah. Later his family moved to Lakewood, Colorado, finally settling in Lake Stevens, Washington, where he went to school at the “Pink Palace” (Lake Stevens High school). Bob played basketball, baseball, ran track, was the captain of the Vikings football team, and Student Body President, all while earning a 3.7 grade point average!

Bob continued his football career at Whitman College for two years where he earned Lineman of the Year and was named Small College All-American. He transferred to the University of Washington to complete a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Political Science, later attending Seattle University, Golden Gate University and the University of Washington for Masters courses in Business, Taxation, Special Education and Broadcast Journalism.

After various jobs in teaching, banking and the restaurant industry, Bob settled on a career in public accounting and 13 years later started his own CPA firm, which later became Bauer Evans when Brian Evans joined him. Together they grew the firm into the 3rd largest CPA firm in Everett, with 12 accountants caring for over 1,400 individual, business and estate clients.

Bob is in charge of the day-to-day management of Bauer Evans while Brian focuses on growing BondStreet Wealth Management, the sister company investment firm. Bob works mostly in his areas of expertise - tax, business and estate planning.
