Bob Bauer was raised on a farm in Murray, Utah. Later
his family moved to Lakewood, Colorado, finally
settling in Lake Stevens, Washington, where he went
to school at the “Pink Palace” (Lake Stevens High
school). Bob played basketball, baseball, ran track,
was the captain of the Vikings football team, and
Student Body President, all while earning a 3.7
grade point average!
Bob continued his football career at Whitman College
for two years where he earned Lineman of the Year
and was named Small College All-American. He
transferred to the University of Washington to
complete a Bachelors of Arts Degree in Political
Science, later attending Seattle University, Golden
Gate University and the University of Washington for
Masters courses in Business, Taxation, Special
Education and Broadcast Journalism.
After various jobs in teaching, banking and the
restaurant industry, Bob settled on a career in
public accounting and 13 years later started his own
CPA firm, which later became Bauer Evans when Brian
Evans joined him. Together they grew the firm into
the 3rd largest CPA firm in Everett, with 12
accountants caring for over 1,400 individual,
business and estate clients.
Bob is in charge of the day-to-day management of
Bauer Evans while Brian focuses on growing
BondStreet Wealth Management, the sister company
investment firm. Bob works mostly in his areas of
expertise - tax, business and estate planning. |
